Join us in prayer and witness how God is changing lives at Northern Illinois University.
Welcome to the first official ministry update from Jacob and Sarah Bell! Here you will find a story written by each of us.
We have recently returned from our New Staff Orientation and are now raising support full-time.
Our orientation was jam-packed with talks on missionary calling and other important onboarding topics, as well as an in-depth training on raising long-term support. We have also received our placement for Cru and are excited to announce that we will be serving at Northern Illinois University!
We are looking forward to sharing more why God has put this campus on our hearts and will be reaching out to meet with you soon.
The end of summer means the start of the school year, and both NIU and Kishwaukee Community College students are back on campus now. The first six weeks of classes are a key time to connect with new students. This week, Northern Illinois Cru staff and students have been out on these campuses, meeting new students, launching Bible studies, and sharing the Gospel. Our student leaders have been such a blessing during this season. Between Cru staff and students, hundreds of students can be reached with the Gospel and invited into life-changing community. We are so excited to see God bring new students into His family and our Cru movement this year!
Proper preparation for ministry from our orientation
Student leaders being involved in meeting new students
God's blessing and guiding hand in finding ministry partners to join our team
Northern Illinois college students to come to know Jesus
We thank you for praying and partnering with us. We cannot do this without your help.
Until the whole world hears,
